When you were a kid, you probably got to explore in the woods. Stomp in a stream. Go looking for tadpoles and frogs. We hope you did; there’s nothing better! Now, if our children are going to have such important play in nature, which has been linked to healthy physical, mental, emotional and academic development, as well as to a stronger environmental and community ethic, we have to create and protect places for it to happen!

Within Nature Playscapes traditional playground equipment is replaced with intentionally and creatively designed natural features. This inviting natural space, especially designed for interaction, will encourage children to connect with nature in a safe setting as they engage their senses to explore, discover, and learn!
