Conservation Summer Camp WEEK ONE

A full-day Summer Camp, immersing your child in nature, at Conestee Nature Preserve!

Join us for a FUN week exploring the wildlife that call the wild places at CNP home! Campers will participate in hands-on activities that teach them about our wildlife, how we protect these special habitats, and how they can make an impact too. We'll explore some of the fun and interesting conservation careers that'll have them excited to make a difference. At the end of the week, each camper will become an official member of the Conestee Conservation Crew! 

Week one and week two are exactly the same apart from the dates.

Daily Themes

• Camp Rocks! All about rocks, soil, and water

• Trees Please: Tree and forest health

• Wednesday - Fantastic Wildlife and Where to Find Them: Animal encounters and wildlife tracking

• Birdtastic Adventure: birding and live animals with Wildlife Rehab of Greenville

• Survivor: Wilderness survival and camping basics

• Visits from conservation professionals in forestry, wildlife research, and wildlife rehab

• Laser tag

• Movie

• Gaga ball and 9 square

• Water related field day

• Crafts and so much more!

Camper Ages

Rising 3rd-5th Graders Only

Campers will be split into groups of 15-20 kids based on age. Each group will have 2 adults at all times.

Camp Time

8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday-Friday

Early drop off will be available starting at 7:30AM. Late pick up is available until 5:30PM. 

Fees

$275 per camper ($250 for Friends of the Preserve)

Add-ons:

Early dropoff (starting 7:30am) - $25

Late pickup (by 5:30pm) - $25

Cancellation/Refund Policy

No refunds will be issued within 72 hours of the start of the program. A 50% refund will be issued within 1 week of the start date. A full refund will be issued if cancelled more than 1 week from the start date.
