About the event
The theme of this year's World Ocean's Day is Changing Tides. We'll be led by Dr. Brandis Hartsell, former curator of Earth and Marine Sciences at Roper Mountain Science Center. Prior to her time at RMSC, she worked in marine sciences for many years and now, she teaches fossil classes with OLLI.
In this "new to CNP" program, Dr. Hartsell will be teaching us about the changes to our shorelines throughout history, and will be sharing her knowledge of marine fossils and how to identify them. Come of our your shell, and join us for this fascinating program!
